Philip Odiyo

MA. PhD (cand) Psychologist

Philip is a leader in his field with over 12 years experience in offering psychotherapy. He is trained and practicing EMDR trauma therapy. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Philip is also representing Africa as a director for International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS), a global body offering training & expertise in psychosocial care for cancer patients and caregivers. He has pioneered many programs and devoted many years to the growing field of psychosocial oncology in Kenya. He is also the Kenyan representative to European Consortium for Arts Therapies and Education (ECArTe), which is comprised of universities and academic institutions championing the development of art therapy training and research globally.

He has worked with many corporations both locally and internationally to provide mental health leadership in high profile critical incidents.

Heidi Bunkowsky

Clinic Social Worker, BSW

Heidi was educated in Canada at the University of Manitoba. She has worked with Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba, Cancer Care Manitoba, The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, Klinic Crisis Line & Fort Garry Women’s Resource Center. In East Africa she has volunteered in Tanzania in a variety of ways for the past 15 years. Since moving to Kenya she began volunteering with Faraja Cancer Support Trust in Nairobi. She has been a thriving private practice

Her areas of expertise include grief therapy, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, support in critical illness, transitions in life and family, coping with anxiety and depression. She also provides training on mental health topics and debriefing for critical incidents.

With over 25 years of experience working in Canada and East Africa, She works to understand the context and culture of her clients. She is also a professional musician and yoga practitioner, bringing both of these skills to her practice.
